Thanksgiving-Images-3In the spirit of this week's Thanksgiving holiday here in the US, I want to use this blog post to express our appreciation and do some giving of our own. We are enormously grateful for the opportunity to serve the construction market with our Connected Concrete® product tracking service. We're particularly grateful to our customers, all of whom stood with us during a difficult patch this year. As a result, we are better and stronger. Thank you for your patronage!

We have a credo at Idencia that we want every party that engages with us in any way to find that they are better off for the experience. This is how we express our appreciation through actions all year long.

So, Thanksgiving week is a good time to share some things we are doing to show our appreciation.

Sharing best practices

Patriot Precast Case Study ImageBy engaging with the precast concrete industry, we are fortunate to see much of the innovation that is being practiced. We will take advantage of this opportunity to give it back to the community. We'll share best practices in the use of our product tracking system but we'll not limit it to that. To start, we are in process of writing case studies. The first is about Patriot Precast, who has successfully integrated Connected Concrete with its scheduling system to seamlessly schedule and track product. You can download it here. (Not to worry, you do not have to provide personal information in order to download.)

Sharing videos

We have just updated our Idencia YouTube Channel to provide a section entitled Precast Showcase where we present videos shared by the industry. Have a video that you've posted on your web site or LinkedIn? Email a link to showcase@idencia.com. We will feature it in Precast Showcase and highlight it in our Connected Concrete newsletter. We are happy to share success stories!  Right now you can view two videos about major projects in which Idencia's product tracking has been used: the reconstruction of The Afsluitdijk in the Netherlands and the construction of the Seattle tunnel replacing the Alaskan Way Viaduct.

Sharing industry insights

In the coming months we will be more interactive in our communications so that we can share the voice of the precast community. We're in process of integrating a service that will allow us to conduct polls, surveys and quizzes through our web site, LinkedIn page and in emails. We'll share the insights we gain with the community.

Speaking of our LinkedIn page, we hope you will follow us to join the precast community we are assembling there. We post everything we publish on our page and will use it as our forum for engaging with followers. Hope you will join us!

From all of us at Idencia, best wishes for a very happy Thanksgiving and, again, our profound thanks for the opportunity to work with you.
